Personal stories of the health and financial challenges of aging abound, as do the extraordinary statistics.  The number of people over 65 will double in the next 20 years; more than 40 percent of us at some time in our life will need some form of long-term care. This is the dual reality within which nonprofit senior living and care professionals operate.  And, at the same, other providers are planning for new needs of future generations by developing innovative practices, advancing new technologies and, perhaps most importantly, responding to the desire of more seniors to remain at home, supported by services in their own community.

The Lenore Cox Project will strive to educate seniors about their health and wellness sharing techniques to live a more independent and vital life.

Aging Well Today Seminars will provide active seniors with educational tools designed: 

1)    To empower individuals to age well, live independently and be vital;

2)    To empower seniors to make informed decisions regarding health and wellness as they age;

3)    To provide seniors with information about alternative medicine and complimentary therapies so they can really live.   

Educating active seniors about health benefits of alternative medicines and therapies will promote continuous learning opportunities.  It is our goal to provide these educational outreach seminars free of charge to participants with a sponsoring agency.

Aging Well Today – Schedule of Events 2011 will provide Information on alternative medicine and complimentary therapies.  Each educational session will empower seniors with information to make informed decisions regarding their health and wellness.
